Marley Spoon Brands - Graphic Design

Marley Spoon AG is a high end meal kit delivery service based in Berlin. From 2022- 2023 I worked there as a designer within the EU Content team. At the time I was employed there, they had several brands under the greater Marley Spoon umbrella, most notably the two meal kit brands, Marley Spoon and Dinnerly. Working with copywriters, the photo team, and marketing I created seasonal flyers, branded packaging, and organic social media posts. All work was translated into four European languages.

Marley Spoon - Holiday Cookies - Q4 2022

This was a last minute bonus-flyer to add value for our customers. I created the concept and worked with the photo team and food stylists to create a quick, elegant holiday recipe for print. The Marley Spoon brand is a luxury brand, so the look always needs to be elevated but approachable, something that makes you feel good and is worth the splurge.

Marley Spoon - For the Love of Good Food - Q1 2022

I worked with the photo team to create a fun, fresh, look with a focus on fresh ingredients for this campaign flyer. The goal was to bring a sense of a winter holiday in Spain to our customers living in Northern Europe. As usual the recipes feature seasonal vegetables.

Instagram has changed a lot since 2021 but back then, series of posts were quite trendy. We were often doing posts calling attention to new products, our suppliers, and new recipes. These capture the light, fun but elegant branding of Marley Spoon.

Dinnerly - Cooking for the Whole Family - Q1 2022

Dinnerly was a lower price point brand more targeted at customers with families. The meals were simpler and had fewer fancy ingredients, but the quality was still quite good. This campaign was to market meal kit options that could be split with 3-4 people, rather than the standard delivery option of 2 people per dish. This campaign was fun to shoot, and I helped a bit in the studio picking props and colour palettes for the table settings.

Instagram has changed a lot since 2021 but back then a single square photo was enough. This selection shows the more fun advertising for the brand- we kept things simply, used brighter bolder colour blocking, and did more experimental things like seasonal calendar illustrations once a month.
